Part-Time Medical Records Secretary

Processes all requests for consumer medical records in accordance with the Agency's procedures and HIPAA guidelines. Maintains chart filing, storage, and retrieval system, provides back up to clerical front desk staff as needed, by assisting in answering incoming phone calls, making transfers to the correct personnel, and scheduling appointments. Additional duties assigned by supervisor, as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Previous medical records/secretarial experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and consumers
  • Shift is Monday through Friday, 10am to 2pm
  • Position located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey
