Responsibilities:

• Facilitates psycho-educational and therapeutic groups with consumers
• Performs psychiatric evaluations, comprehensive health assessments, medication monitoring, and medication counseling
• Utilizes a wide range of treatment modalities with consumers
• Must be able to adhere to the program’s standards for maintaining accurate and up to date electronic charts
• Works collaboratively with psychiatrist according to service agreement and joint protocols

Qualifications:

• MSN from an accredited university approved by the New Jersey Board of Nursing for APNs
• Three years of direct practice experience and one year of community mental health experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) and Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in the State of New Jersey
• CDS in the State of New Jersey and valid Federal DEA certificate
• Completed highest level of practice in the area of psychiatric mental health
