Social Service Counselor (FT, ALSP)

Responsible for the management of consumer cases, providing IMR services, medication monitoring, and assisting consumers with financial management and linkage to all community resources. In addition, must be able to assist consumers with coordinating medical appointments, ADLs, and ensuring they meet all program guidelines. Must be able to encourage family involvement as needed, perform crisis intervention, and provide input into the development of IRPs. Functions as an active team member by assisting peers and communicating all relevant information. Must be able to work independently while out in the field and operate Agency vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.


  • BSW in social work, BS/BA in psychology, or a related field with two years of direct service experience
  • One year of direct service experience in mental health preferred
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license
  • Shift is Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, 2 days 1pm-9pm
  • Position located in Hackensack, New Jersey
