CBH Care Joins Forces With Lyndhurst PD

CBH Care is proud to announce the organization's partnership with the Lyndhurst Police Department.

Starting at the end of February a CBH Care clinician will help assist with the unique relationship between police officers and community mental health. Police officers are often the front-line responders for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. Prioritizing the relationship between police officers and mental health is a module many municipalities follow across the nation.

The partnership serves as an invaluable opportunity for both Lyndhurst PD and CBH Care to learn from one another for the benefit of Lyndhurst residents. The heightened cases of mental health crises in Lyndhurst is felt keenly by CBH Care as it is the organization's birthplace. We look forward to this continued relationship with Lyndhurst PD and hope this is the first partnership of many between mental health professionals and the law.
