CBH Care Receives Corporate Charitable Donations from Event Planning Company United EVENTures and Mazars LLP Consulting

CBH Care recently received corporate donations from a charitable event hosted by Event Planning company United EVENTures and consulting firm Mazars LLP. During a three day conference at Grand Cascades, Crystal Springs, the companies engaged in a team-building exercise and donated 20 boxes of goods to CBH Care to be distributed to CBH Care’s PATH, KARE and Adult Partial Care participants.

Goods included socks, sweatshirts, hats, scarves, gloves, crafting supplies, games, hygiene products and dozens of Dunkin Donuts gift cards.

“We are so grateful to have been chosen for corporate donations by Mazars LLP and United EVENTures. These gifts will directly benefit our consumers, many of whom live in CBH Care housing and have lost everything to mental health struggles,” said Director of Development Nicole Chiarello. “As a community-based mental healthcare provider, we touch the lives of thousands of New Jersey residents every year, and many thousands more, indirectly. Charitable donations of supplies and financial resources help us carry out our mission.”

“Members of our team frequently select worthy charities and non-profits to make donations to, and we have heard from members of our team about the good work CBH Care does for thousands of New Jersey residents every year. We have gotten to know Nicole Chiarello and other members of their leadership board, and firmly support commitment to promoting mental health care and awareness,” said United EVENTures Owner Will Leggett.

United EVENTures was founded in 2016. CBH Care is currently celebrating it’s half-centennial. It first opened in 1969 in Lyndhurst as South Bergen County Mental Health Center. It’s first Executive Director, Peter Scerbo, recently retired after 49 years with the community-based mental health provider.
