Full-Time Substance Use Disorder Peer Recovery Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Provides peer mentoring and coaching to consumers with substance use issues.

  • Assist consumers with activities of daily living and obtaining basic needs.

  • Provides education about mental illness, substance use, and symptom management.

  • Accompanies consumer to appointments.

  • Provides transportation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Life experience with mental health and substance treatment fields

  • Must have valid NJ Driver’s license
