This course is
for anyone
and everyone.
Adult Mental Health First Aid Course focuses on recognizing the patterns of thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and appearance that show there might be a mental health or substance use challenge. Learners are taught an Action Plan that they apply to non-crisis and crisis situations. The course illustrates the impact of trauma, emphasizes recovery is possible, and highlights the importance of safety, privacy, and self-care for the Mental Health First Aider and the person receiving first aid alike.
