Is CBH Care licensed by the State?
Yes! CBH Care is licensed by the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Department of Children and Families.

CBH Care is a leading agency in providing mental health care in Northern New Jersey. In addition to being passionate advocates, we provide expert mental health and wellness services to people of all ages, along with support for their families. How do I arrange an appointment?
Call CBH Care's Access Center at (201) 646-0195 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday to speak to an access staff member. Access staff will speak with you about your concerns, schedule a convenient appointment, and describe what information you need to bring to your first appointment.
What will happen at my first outpatient (counseling) visit?
Our receptionist will greet you and have you complete a few brief forms. The fee counselor will review your insurance coverage and answer any questions about your coverage, or your fees. We strive to never have fees be a barrier to care. You will then meet with a counselor to complete an intake.
What types of therapy does CBH Care offer?
The CBH Care treatment review team provides wrap-around care and advocacy on an individualized basis to promote wellness in every area of a person’s life, including physical and social services when suitable. Consumers, families, and customers count on us to follow through with comprehensive care that goes above and beyond conventional expectations, this includes providing a wide range of therapeutic services such as:
