Full-Time Medical Records Secretary

For full-time employees after successfully completing 6 months of employment

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a consumer chart filing and retrieval system

  • Processes all requests for medical records in accordance to organizational policy and procedure

  • Must adhere to HIPPA guidelines when handling charts to protect consumer confidentiality

  • Assists front desk staff by scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and taking messages

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Secretarial experience required, business school helpful

  • Excellent communication skills and a team player

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite


Location

Lyndhurst, New Jersey

Some travel to Hackensack required

Monday through Thursday, 8:45am-5pm, Friday, 9am-4pm
