Hackensack Students Fed Hundreds at the 32nd Annual Caring Community Project

On Saturday, November 20th, CBH Care hosted the 32nd annual Caring Community Project in the parking lot for the second year.

The event successfully distributed over 400 donated coats to people in real need of a helping hand. Hackensack High School Culinary Arts Classes in conjunction with Carroll Family Values were able to prepare and distribute home cooked meals for attendees.

The students working from the high school are part of a group from the Culinary classes that dedicates their time to all Culinary projects that go beyond normal school hours. These students went the extra mile to provide meals to community members in need. Many of the students are also involved with other after school activities such as sports, clubs, and jobs. The extra curricular time put into this event was approximately 35 hours by the high school students.
