Responsibilities

• Provides consistent medication education to consumers and provides treatment recommendations as needed

• Works with the staff psychiatrist in dispensing the correct medication and identifying any and all side effects

• Provides supervision to all nursing staff and ensures completion of performance reviews

• Ensures compliance to applicable OSHA regulations in the safe and proper disposal of bio-hazardous materials

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (RN) in the State of New Jersey

• Previous experience with the psychiatric population
