Responsibilities

• Dispenses medication and provides injections as prescribed by the staff psychiatrists/APNs

• Provides medication education to consumers

• Identifies side effect and or issues with medications and alert staff prescribers

• Completed prior authorizations and assists with TB testing for new employees

• Provides medication training to staff

• Executes emergency assessments and wound care
