CBH Care to Host 32nd Annual Caring Community Project

Caring Community Project (CCP) has been providing meals, coats, and clothing to people in need for many years. Each year, the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the CCP hosts an event at Christ Church in Hackensack where anyone in need of a meal, a coat, clothing, and some good company are welcome. Last year, due to covid, CBH Care sponsored the event in our parking lot. Over 500 coats as well as hundreds of holiday meals were given to individuals and families who needed them.

This year, CBH Care is once again proud to host the Caring Community Project in their 32nd year of assisting people in our community.

If you are interested in donating a coat or sponsoring a family for holidays gifts, please contact Nikki Chiarello, nchiarello@cbhcare.com or Denise Morelli, dmorelli@cbhcare.com.

If life's challenges have made it difficult for you or a loved one to buy food or a warm winter coat, we're here to help! TEXT 551-265-5147 BEFORE November 17th the size of coat you need [S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL] and indicate M for men's style, W for women's, Y for youth.

This is truly a community event and made possible by the support of Collaborative Programs of NJ, CBH Care, Care Plus NJ, Vantage Health System, West Bergen Mental Healthcare, local Rotary Clubs, Girl Scout troop of Oradell and the generosity of countless others.
