CBH Care at the 17th Annual National Suicide Prevention Walk

CBH Care, a community based mental and behavioral health provider serving Norther New Jersey, participated in the 17th Annual National Suicide Prevention Walk on Sunday October 17, 2021. The Out of the Darkness walk was hosted by the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP). AFSP provides education, funding, support and advocacy to those affected by suicide and survivors of suicide loss.

The 3k walk took place at Saddle Brook County Park in Bergen County New Jersey. CBH Care was in attendance with 22 employees, friends, and family members wearing our Stigma Free t-shirts. CBH Care had a resource table where many participants stopped by to gather information on the importance of mental health and community resources. AFP surpassed their goal of raising $100,000.00. CBH Care was proud to take part in this very important event!
