Welcome to Our New CBH Care Board Members

Our Board of Trustees is a distinguished part of the continued care and services CBH Care has brought to the community for over 50 years. We’ve recently expanded our board with three additions we are pleased to introduce.

Dana Pannasch

After over half a decade of performing outstanding work as a retirement consultant, Dana Pannasch has joined the CBH Care board. Dana is an expert in the non-profit sector with several years under her belt. Since 2014, she’s worked with the non-profit community to strengthen the organization’s benefits packages and tailor retirement plans to each organization's needs.

Through her work as an Account Executive at Mutual of America Financial Group, Dana has been able to remain well versed in the needs and challenges non-profits face today. She also has over 13 years of experience in the financial industry including 401(k) and 403(b) management, brokerage, retail banking, and lending.

We’re excited to have Dana as a part of the board, and are eager to see her excel in this new role. Dana can be reached at dana.pannasch@mutualfundofamerica.com or 973.299.8228

John Birkner, Jr.

A well-known trailblazer with a slew of accomplishments behind him, CBH Care is pleased to welcome John Birkner, Jr. to the board. A New Jersey native, Birkner is an activist and a leader for change, most notably as the former Mayor of Westwood. Throughout his three consecutive terms, Birkner spearheaded initiatives that further enriched the social infrastructure of his community.

Birkner applied his knowledge in sanitary and industrial wastewater treatment and wastewater microbiology to aid him in his position in the wastewater treatment industry at the Bergen County Utilities Authority. CBH Care looks forward to the impact and innovation Birkner will bring while a part of the team.

Maria M. Palumbo

First beginning her career over 25 years ago, Maria joins CBH Care as one of the newest additions to the board. Maria is the Vice President and Business Relationship Officer for Hudson and Bergen counties.

Maria participates in several local organizations including the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce, Hudson Chamber of Commerce, Women in Commercial Lending, and CNA of Bergen County. Maria volunteers for CBH Care and is passionate about fundraising for mental health awareness.  Maria has been a loyal friend to CBH Care, volunteering for many of our past events.

Maria is a great addition to our board and we are happy to see her contribution to future endeavors. Maria can be reached at mpalumbo@kearnybank.com or 862.220.5108.
