CBH Care’s Denise Morelli is named Leadership Award Winner

Denise Morelli, CBH Care development associate, recently was named a 2021 Arline Simpson Leadership Award winner by the Meadowlands Chamber. Denise joins eight other honorees that were chosen based on their work in supporting the Chamber’s mission and improving their communities. The honorees were celebrated during the Chamber’s “Lunch for Love” event.

Denise has been involved with the Chamber for many years and has chaired many committees along with her husband, Vincent. Most recently she became co-chair of the Chamber’s nonprofit committee which has capitalized on her experience and passion for fundraising and philanthropy. During the pandemic, she was instrumental in continuing the Chamber’s programs with online webinars and other activities that support its mission and service to its members.

In 2009, Denise joined CBH Care where she began her career in behavioral healthcare. She has held many positions with the organization, most recently taking on the role of development associate where her skills for connecting with others are being put to good use. In addition, she is responsible for spearheading fundraising initiatives for CBH Care as well as organizing volunteer opportunities and community outreach programs.

“We’re so proud of Denise and happy that she is being recognized by the Meadowlands Chamber for her outstanding work,” said Sue Devlin, CBH Care executive director. “She is an asset to many on so many levels, and we’re fortunate to have her here working on behalf of our community.”

The Meadowlands Chamber award is named after Arline Simpson Seidman, a former Chairwoman of the Chamber whose service and leadership helped guide the organization for 25 years.
