In recognition of its good standing since 2013, New Jersey has invited CBH Care to expand its Wellness & Support Center [also known as the Early Intervention Support Services (EISS)] program in Westwood, NJ.

On Saturday, November 20th, CBH Care spent another annual giving season by serving the community at the 32nd annual Caring Community Project.

In October, CBH Care welcomed Stephanie Hartman to the organization to spearhead the Mental Health First Aid® (MHFA) programs offered to the community.

CBH Care is committed to leading the charge in this area by offering virtual presentations, week-long training sessions, immersive classes and now Mental Health First Aid® for adults (MHFA), for adults engaged with young people (YMHFA), and for adolescents (tMHFA). 

Caring Community Project has been providing meals, coats, and clothing to people in need for many years. This year, CBH Care is once again proud to host the Caring Community Project in their 32nd year of assisting people in our community.

CBH Care is partnering with Family Support Organization of Bergen County in September to help kick off student-driven programs to elevate ongoing mental health education and remove stigma associated with youth mental health issues. 

CBH Care recently received a $2,000 grant from Investors Foundation at CBH Care’s offices in Hackensack.

CBH Care was among one dozen organizations, including police officers and social work outreach peer recovery specialists, to join together for “Operation Homecoming,” an initiative designed to locate homeless persons in Englewood, NJ and connect them with needed services.

Lara Zucker, CBH Care's IFSS program coordinator and president of NAMI Greater Bergen in Hackensack, was invited in May to discuss depression in Bergen Magazine.
